GL1800/1500 GPS MIC Interface
Attach this microphone interface to your headset connector and you will soon be able to use the voice commands and/or Bluetooth phone capabilities (if present) of your GPS. Works on both 1500 and 1800 models (A compatible Bluetooth capable cell phone and GPS are required)
Installation is plug and play under the lefthand fairing pocket, unit is level matched and gives complete isolation from the bike's intercom system to avoid any noise issues.

Standard microphone cable length is approximately 6 feet to allow for routing to most locations with a right angled connector.
Please consult your GPS user guide to make sure your unit has the correct connections present either on the unit or its cradle some models require extra parts to allow a microphone input
Care must be taken when routing the cables for this item as it is very easy to pickup alternator noise if you run in close proximity to some other cables , we make this unit with screened cable to try to avoid any interference but care must still be taken when locating.. This item only provides a microphone feed to your GPS it does not provide audio into your radio

Attention 660 and 665 owners use of this item can be hit and miss on these two models due to variations in the Garmin units although no damage will occur by using this interface speech levels over Bluetooth may be greatly reduced this is not a fault with the splitter as some 66X unit require a very high level headset microphone please be aware of this before you order.
